In order to achieve this objective, Tocea proposes a complete set of complementary services to our software products. These offerings aim at making faster the implementation of our solutions, adapting the use of products to the development process and environments, and finally making teams ever more mature in the areas of software & architecture quality management:

Expert Services
These service offerings are designed for companies that generally do not own Tocea’s solutions, but wish to benefit from the value they provide, or do not have the necessary resources or technical expertise. Expert Services by Tocea are high value-added services which combine the expertise of Tocea’s consultants with the services delivered by the Scertify™ technology. Expert services especially include:
- Application Audit: Tocea’s consultant performs an audit of your application and provide you with a complete report detailing the violations and weaknesses that have been identified regarding traditional metrics such as complexity, performance, and maintainability of the application, but also advanced features such as the quality of its architecture, the potential security flaws, the types of licenses associated with the open source libraries that are used into the application… In addition to the report, Tocea will provide you with recommendations to help you development team improving the application. Although audit services are usually one-off, these can be contracted on a recurring basis, for example to validate the code quality of each major delivery of an outsourced application, 3 or 4 times a year, in order to measure its evolution.

- Application Refactoring: as the natural step following an audit, the refactoring will dramatically improve the quality of a software application. Tocea has built a complete methodology to make this process as automatic and as cost effective as possible. A Refactoring process for a large number of defects to correct always starts with a feasibility study that measures the potential of automation of the corrections, and allows Tocea to estimate the required workload, and to commit on results. The refactoring process itself begins with a Proof of Concept that concentrates on a limited part of the application, with the objective to tune the correction mechanisms, before running on the complete application. In certain cases, when the required effort goes beyond Tocea’s available capabilities, Tocea can partner with your preferred IT service company to achieve the goal.
