Graduated from HEC Montreal, a top business school, holder of an ESCP (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) MBA, François is a seasoned manager and leader. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Tocea, he oversees the day-to-day operational activities of the organization with a specific emphasis on finance and human resources.
Prior co-founding Tocea, François was responsible for finance management and administration at IKEA, a worldwide leader in furniture manufacturing and retailing. Before IKEA, François was in charge of accounting and logistic at Castorama, a French group of DIY retail.
These successful experiences in large groups allowed him to gain a deep knowledge of finance and management of large enterprise projects in multi-cultural environments. After more than 10 years in those complex environments, François, in co-founding Tocea, has decided to confront his knowhow in the development of a real human venture.
Sylvain Leroy co-founded Tocea in 2011 as a continuation of the Serenitec research project he led at INRIA/IRISA, a French National IT Research Center. The Serenitec (Security analysis and Refactoring ENvironment for Internet TEChnology) project covered several key topics of development quality and software security, such as the design of code analysis tools adapted to the constraints of the industrial world (volume, response time), the application of expert systems in the prevention of unknown security ugs, the automation of bug fixing…
Sylvain holds a Master Degree of the Rennes University. During his Master he worked on the “optimization of Java programs by code transformation”. He is Expert engineer in compilation, analysis tools (parser, syntactic representation, grammars), Java languages, frameworks…
At Tocea, Sylvain is responsible for technology innovation, research, and technical team leadership. Sylvain brings a valuable combination of vision, and technical expertise associated with a developed human sense.
With 25 years of experience at software and high-tech companies including Metrixware, United Devices Inc., Open Cascade, EADS Matra Datavision, and Souriau, Vincent Ruelland has demonstrated his ability to implementing innovative strategies and building strong operations teams through personal commitment, vision, and shared values.
Prior to joining Tocea, Vincent served as Sales and Marketing Operations Manager at Metrixware, a software vendor of the Application Portfolio Management domain. Vincent has been instrumental in changing the dimension of the company by ensuring a continuous and double-digit revenue growth.
Vincent Ruelland participated in establishing, and developing several companies of the software and IT services domains. He has gained business development, sales and product marketing experience with Open Cascade, and EADS Matra Datavision. Vincent has also an extensive international experience in developing business with the USA, and Asia, in addition to Europe.
